Course Highlights

Choose from two unique 18-hole layouts with a variety of terrain features that will test any player.

Prairie Course: Let your tee shot soar into the bright blue sky then watch as it gently comes to rest on one of the wide, well-manicured fairways of the Prairie course at Countryside Golf Club. Once there golfers find themselves admiring the approach to our expansive, undulating greens that will accept towering precise approach shots hit with wedges or hot, running fairway woods alike. With small trees and a relatively flat topography this modern layout has few secrets to hide. But be careful, a tee shot hit too far offline might find its' way into the acres of tall prairie grasses that define many of the 18 holes. The Prairie course will challenge the best of players but allow everyone to have an enjoyable round.

Traditional Course: Lined with hundreds of mature Oak, Maple, Elm or Spruce trees the fairways of the Traditional course reward precision off the tee. Struck with perfection, your tee shot will sit high and proud on a narrow, emerald fairway just waiting for your next move. The smaller greens of the Traditional course require precision if birdies and pars are what you desire. With many greens pitched from back to front be sure to keep your approach shot below the hole. The player who will conquer the Traditional course is one who can traverse the course with precision, not length.

No matter what course you find your self on we sincerely hope you enjoy your time with us at Countryside Golf Club.

Cart Rules

Paved continuous cart paths allow cart use in more weather conditions while protecting turf quality. One of two cart rules will be effect at all times. When the "90 Degree Rule" is in effect we ask that golfers use the cart path to drive their ball, then cross the fairway at a 90 degree angle. This limits the traffic on the course and helps of maintain high quality grass throughout the entire season. Only when course conditions dictate, will the "Cart Path Only" rule be used. If this rule is in place there are no exceptions for any reason. Although no guarantees can be made, cart rules for golfers with physical limitations will be handled on a case by case basis.

An underpass beneath Hawley Street connects the front and back side of Countryside's Traditional course, improving safety and convenience.

Severe Weather Rules

Countryside Golf Club is a "play at your own risk" facility. When severe weather (lightning) is detected within 3-8 miles of Countryside Golf Club the air horns will sound one prolonged blast letting golfers know of the incoming weather. This horn is informational only and does not mean that golfers must leave the course. However, golfers who have NOT started their round will not be allowed to begin until the "all clear" horn (three short balsts) has sounded. The "all clear" horn will sound when lightning has moved beyond 3-8 miles away from Countryside or has not been seen for 30 minutes.

Number of Players in a Group

In order to maintain a comfortable pace of play no more than 4 players are allowed in a group at one time. Groups with more than 4 players will be split up and / or combined with other players to keep the 4 player maximum.

Outside Food & Beverages

Countryside Golf Club offers a wide variery of food and beverages to enjoy. At no time may outside alcoholic beverages be consumed on the Countryside property. Any alcoholic beverages not purchased at Countryside Golf Club will be confiscated and kept in the pro shop where they will be returned to the owner at the completion of the round.
